To arrange for telephone service, call ext. 7055, which is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Fees are collected in advance and may be made by cash, debit or credit card. This service will allow you to receive calls between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. You will be able to make local calls without additional charge to area codes 718, 516, 212, 347, 917 and 646.
Our phone system allows you to place and receive calls directly. Please notify family and friends of your hospital telephone number so they may call you directly. To discontinue phone service, call ext. 7055.
Local Calls: Dial 9, 1, area code then phone number.
Non-Local Calls: Dial 27, wait for the second dial tone, dial 0 plus area code and telephone number. These calls must be billed to your home telephone, credit card, calling card or made collect.
Calling a department within the hospital? Dial the last four or five digits of the number.
